This course is designed for test-takers who wish to have a thorough understanding of the SAT Reading & Writing section. We will instruct you on how to ace your SAT by teaching you the the most effective strategies in tackling the questions in the limited time given, and writing the perfect essay in the eyes of the examiners.
Our SAT Evidence-based Reading and Writing course begins with an introduction to the test format and question types. Students will learn active reading techniques, understand passage structures, and develop strategies for answering questions effectively, including finding evidence in the text and analyzing word choice and arguments. Additionally, they will practice interpreting graphs and charts and synthesizing information from multiple sources.
In the Writing section, the course covers essential grammar rules, sentence structure, and techniques to improve clarity and style. Students will engage in full-length practice tests, followed by detailed reviews to reinforce learning and fine-tune their strategies. The course concludes with lessons on time management, test day preparation, and stress management to ensure students are fully prepared to excel on the SAT.
